Terms and Conditions
General Info.
All rates are per room per night and include tax. In Europe the rates also include breakfast.
Most hotels are run-of-the-house rates unless different categories are specified. Special requests are taken and require more time to process.
Most hotels have immediate online confirmation. Others can be requested and it takes up to 3 business days to confirm.
Payments
Important! Due to the currency fluctuation (USD vs EUR or Pound Sterling), there might be a price adjustment after the quote has been made and until final payment has been received.
All must be booked at least 7 days in advance and fully prepaid. These are special rates which carry restrictions.
Payment by check is acceptable if received at least 3 weeks in
advance of scheduled hotel arrival date. Visa, Mastercard, American Express are
accepted.

Credit card
Authorization Form must be filled in
and faxed to us. All reservations have to be fully prepaid in advance by check,
money order or major credit card no later than 60 days prior to departure. A $25 service charge will be assessed for checks returned
for insufficient funds or any banking problems arising from the clearing of
checks.
Deposits and Final Payment.
Deposit $50 per hotel is due upon confirmation.
Final payment must be received no later than 60 days prior to the departure.
Vouchers
Upon receiving final payments, vouchers will be mailed.
Cancellation / Refund Policy
The cancellation must be requested in writing. The
following cancellation penalties will apply for cancellations,
61 days or more $50 per hotel
60-31 days: 50% of total booking price
30-15 days: 75% of total booking price
15-0 days: no refund
If you cancel with our office after you have received your voucher, but have not traveled, the original voucher must be returned for processing of your refund. Your refund will be issued as soon as the original voucher is received at our Westport, CT office. The request goes to hotel and it takes up to 60 days to process refund.
Changes
A $50 fee per booking will be required for each
service change made for all bookings up to 7 days prior to departure.
Thereafter, no changes can be made.
Disclaimers
The hotel is a choice of client who is solely responsible for their choice. If the client is dissatisfied with any part of the package, the ultimate supplier (hotel, sightseeing tour operator, etc.) is solely in the position and the only one with any authority to make any adjustments.
If any documents are included in the arrangements, they cannot be transferred to any other named person.
All rates pertaining to independent hotels include handling fees consisting of communications expenses incurred to obtain reservations. Rates may differ due to local currency rate fluctuation. E&M Travel will not be held responsible for any differences between rates paid prior to departure and locally posted rates, and absolutely no refunds will be made for such possible differences.
